Introduction to Historical Fencing
Thursdays: Sept. 4th - Oct. 30th, 5:30-6:30 pm
$350 per student, includes gear for use during class!
Learn the basics of historical fencing in this introductory course! Learn basic footwork, attacks and defenses, and the three main training weapons: foil, sabre, and epee. Plus receive a 1 week introduction to knife self-defense and single stick combat!
Theories and Tactics of Historical Fencing
Thursdays: Sept. 4th - Dec. 18th, 6:30-8:00 pm
$225 per student, plus $50 gear rental if needed (paid to Iron Rose Fencing)
For students that have previously completed Introduction to Historical Fencing. Expand your knowledge, skills, and techniques in this intermediate class! Classes include group instructional time as well as time for open bouting with other students.
Introduction to Stick Fighting
Thursdays: Nov 6th - Dec 18th, 5:30-6:30pm
$90 per student, $30 gear rental if needed (paid to Iron Rose Fencing)
Learn the traditional Irish Single Stick and Franco-Italian Great Stick in this introductory course! Learn historical single stick, used to train basket-hilted broadswords and backswords as well as calvary saber from the 1500s through WWII! Followed up with Great Stick, used to train for two-handed great swords!
